I am alone, not lonely

Dear friends, friends friends, friends friends friends. Every time you guys meet me, one inevitable question pops up from your minds ‘Are you not feeling lonely?’ I wonder why all you people irrespective of age, sex, and education ask the same question. Do they all know each other? Is it a conspiracy? DAMN! I don’t think so, these people are different, no way they are connected.

‘Are you not feeling lonely?’- Is it a fear? Is it a concern?
Whatever it is, here is my answer again ‘I am alone, not lonely.’
Thank you very much

Hahahaha...that sounds so familiar! I keep being asked the very same question over and over again, especially from my concerned parents.
My answer is precisely the one you're giving here. I choose to be alone, because i like and need to be. This has nothing to do with lonelyness. I would say it's important to be alone on a regular bases, and face oneself, something a lot of people are not comfortable with, and that's probably why they keep asking us if we're not "feeling lonely"!

Let's face it, lonely or not...we're all alone after all!

All the best Shiva bhai, and thanks for your visits on my flickr stream!
